Jeremy is a percussive artist whose unique versatility allows him to move seamlessly among musical worlds.
Building on his foundation of classical training at The Juilliard School, Jeremy's percussive scope covers an impressive variety of music styles and contexts. He performs regularly with Afro-Peruvian music group Festejation, Middle-Eastern fusion band Baklava Express, and global jazz quintet Mr. Ho's Orchestrotica. Current touring groups include Jordanian vocalist and activist Farah Siraj, and genre-blending cellist George Crotty.
In 2016 he was invited to the International Percussion Festival in Seoul, South Korea as a solo world percussion concert artist. In the Fall of 2017 he toured the U.S. with The Knights chamber orchestra featuring guest artists Avi Avital and Kinan Azmeh. He has performed with the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic and Hudson Valley Philharmonic. Other notable collaborations and performances include New York Arabic Orchestra, New York Gypsy All-Stars, Antonio Lizana, Layth Sidiq, NY Andalus Ensemble, Pasion y Arte flamenco, Nelida Tirado flamenco, A Palo Seco flamenco, and many more.
Along with his dynamic performance schedule, Jeremy is a live musical accompanist for modern dance classes at the Juilliard School, The Ailey School, and Steps on Broadway. He has also accompanied classes at NYU, Hunter College, Harkness Dance Center, Paul Taylor School, Joffrey School, and The New School. As a passionate educator of rhythm & percussion, Jeremy has presented clinics and classes at the University of Michigan, Columbia University, and Bowling Green State University. He has presented online classes for students at Indiana University and Ithaca College. He also meets regularly with students online and live in his studio in New York City.
